Stainless Steel & GI Gratings

HighTech Fabrication supplies and installs stainless steel and galvanised iron (GI) bar gratings for flooring, walkway platforms, drainage covers, trench covers, machine guards, and ventilation grilles across industrial, commercial, and public realm applications throughout Abu Dhabi and the UAE. Gratings are a fundamental element of industrial facilities — providing safe, load-bearing, anti-slip floor surfaces that allow drainage, airflow, and visibility through the floor plane while supporting the live loads of pedestrians, forklifts, pallet trucks, and heavy equipment.

We supply gratings in stainless steel Grade 304 and 316 (for food processing, pharmaceutical, marine, and chemical plant environments requiring superior corrosion resistance and hygienic surfaces) and hot-dip galvanised mild steel (for general industrial applications where cost-effectiveness and good corrosion resistance are the key criteria). Both types are available in a range of standard and non-standard bearing bar spacings and depths, and in pressure-locked, swaged, and welded construction methods.

Cut-to-Size & Custom Fabrication

We cut grating panels to exact size from standard sheet stock using our guillotine, disc cutting, or waterjet cutting equipment. All cut edges are banded with a flat bar edge banding (saddle plate) welded or clipped in place — preventing bare cut edges from snagging on personnel clothing and maintaining the structural integrity of the panel perimeter. Custom grating frames with integral fixing lugs, recessed chequer plate inserts, and anti-slip nosing strips for stair treads are all available.
